How is Dobbin different from Claude or ChatGPT?
Claude and ChatGPT are general-purpose assistants. Dobbin knows your company. It learns your strategy, unwritten rules, files and data, then answers from your company’s point of view. What one person teaches Dobbin, it puts to work for everyone. Most customers add Dobbin as a source to the assistant they already use. The assistant does the task, and Dobbin teaches it how your company thinks.
Is usage really unlimited?
Yes. Unlimited people, unlimited questions, unlimited documents. There are no seats and no credits to run out of. What changes between plans is how many private Slack channels Dobbin works in, how many tools it connects to and the level of support. That’s it.
What’s in the free trial, and what happens when it ends?
The 30-day trial gives you the full Business plan: unlimited connections and 25 private channels. No credit card. No automatic charge. When it ends, we keep your workspace for another 30 days, so you can choose a plan and pick up where you left off, with everything Dobbin has learned still there.
Which plan should I start on, and can I change later?
Pick by how much of your company you’re connecting. Team is for one core team, Scale is for several teams, and Business is for when you want every tool connected. You get all of Dobbin’s features on every plan. You can move up or down whenever you like.
How long does setup take, and do I need to tidy our files first?
Setup takes about 15 minutes, and you don’t need to organize anything first. Dobbin starts with your public presence, then learns continuously from your conversations and decisions. Everything you upload or share, including folders, forwarded emails and recordings, teaches it more.
Do I have to pay for a year up front? How do I pay?
No. You can pay monthly and cancel at any time. Annual plans save 20%. You can pay by credit card or invoice.
Will my team actually use it?
Yes. Your team does not need to open another app or learn a new workflow. Dobbin works in Slack, with Microsoft Teams and Google Chat in beta, so they can ask questions where they already work. It works in private messages too, for the questions nobody wants to ask the room. It’s useful from the start and gets better with every conversation.
Who owns what Dobbin creates?
You do. Everything Dobbin learns and makes for you is yours. That includes your Foundation, the written record Dobbin builds of your strategy, your voice and how you make decisions. You can download all of it in standard formats at any time.
Is my data secure?
Yes, and it stays yours. Your company gets its own private, single-tenant instance. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit and never used to train external models. Dobbin answers within your channel permissions, so people only see what they’re already allowed to see. It’s SOC 2 Type 2 audited and ISO 27001 certified on every plan.
